My Approach to weddings...

I believe wedding photography should feel natural, intentional, and true to the atmosphere of the day.

For most of the wedding, my approach is documentary focused. I prefer to quietly capture real moments as they happen rather than constantly directing or interrupting people. Some of the best photographs come from moments that unfold naturally, the nerves before the ceremony, reactions during speeches, friends laughing together, and all the small moments in between.

At the same time, I also love creating beautiful portraits and more editorial style images when there’s a planned time and purpose for them. We’ll usually set aside a dedicated part of the day for formal photographs, couple portraits, or anything more creative you’d like to do. Some couples prefer things simple and relaxed, others want something cinematic or fashion-inspired. Both can work brilliantly.

Outside of those planned moments, I don’t want your wedding to feel like a constant photoshoot. I’m not going to spend the entire day stopping people every few minutes to ask them to smile at the camera. I’d much rather your guests enjoy the day naturally while I capture it honestly as it unfolds.

I know most people aren’t used to being photographed, and that’s completely fine. You don’t need to perform for the camera all day. When guidance is needed, I’ll always keep things relaxed and straightforward without making anything feel forced or uncomfortable.

Working Together...

Most couples first get in touch through the custom package builder, where you can send over your date, plans, and the kind of coverage you’re looking for. From there, I’ll put together a draft package and photography plan tailored around your wedding day, which we can refine together until it feels right.

Once you’re happy to move forward, a 20% booking deposit secures your date.

I like to stay in touch with couples throughout the months leading up to the wedding, so you should always feel free to send over ideas, plans, timeline updates, or inspiration along the way. Around four weeks before the wedding, we’ll arrange a consultation call or Zoom meeting to finalise timings, logistics, family photographs, and the overall plan for the day. The remaining balance would then be due before the wedding.

By the time the wedding arrives, my goal is for everything to feel relaxed, prepared, and natural so you can focus on enjoying the day rather than worrying about photography.
